General description of the collection: Jesse D. Derrick photograph collection is an album full of WWI era picture postcards. Many show destruction in France and Germany; others show commercially produced scenes of the German Army, dead bodies, allied soldiers, artillery pieces, etc. Several actual photos are sprinkled throughout the album, some few being related to 3rd Division scenes, as that is the unit in which Mr. Derrick served. Most of the postcards in this album, however, are strictly tourist type scenes in England, France, Belgium, and Germany.
