Donald Richard Theophilus received 2 B.S. degrees (1920 and 1922), an M.S. (1924), and a Doctor of Philosophy (1935) in animal science from Iowa State College (University). Theophilus was employed in Dairying at Iowa State, Western Kentucky College, and the University of Idaho (1927-1946), and also served as Idaho's Dean of Agriculture (1946-1954) and University President (1954-1965).
