William Don Jones photograph collection. 1918-1971.

Contains the following type of materials: photographs. Covers the following war: World War I (WWI). Contains photographs of the following military unit: 110th Engineers, 35th Division, A.E.F. General description of the collection: William Don Jones photograph collection fills one large oversize box and contains photos of basically three subjects. There are a handful of photos of him and some of his friends who served in WWI from Company D, 110th U.S. Engineer Regiment in the A.E.F. There are also some excellent photos of U.S. and Allied top ranking military leaders from WWI. The second subject is a tour of Greece probably sometime between 1945 and 1952, showing World War II (WWII) destruction, cities, countryside, people, historic ruins, etc. Over 350 photos cover this subject. The third subject is the Disabled American Veterans (D.A.V.) organization. The photos cover D.A.V. activities from WWII to 1971 and show "Colonel" Jones as a national leader in that organization.
