Bales (left in photo) of Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia, sold his Pony of the Americas stallion Raz-Ma-Taz at Fort Smith for $8,500 in a record breaking auction to R.W. Bradford and his son Bill of Grove, Utah, who were next to Bales in the photo (1517.08) at a horse auction in Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas. The trainer for the Bales ranch, Dick Beer of Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia, is holding the halter in the photo.
