Concerns registration of trademark and transfer of trademarks and trade names. Includes a registration of trademark for ginghams issued by the U.S. Patent Office, April 3, 1906, and renewed Feb. 9, 1926, to Smith, Hogg & Co., New York, N.Y.; a similar form for registration of trademark for cotton piece goods, issued Aug. 21, 1906, and renewed Oct. 12, 1926, to Everett Mills. Also includes an assignment of registered trademark and transfer of trademark, Aug. 27, 1927, from Smith, Hogg & Co. to Everett Mills; and a letter, June 6, 1938, to the directors of Everett Mills from D.G. Thompson, attorney, Boston, concerning the transfer of trademarks and trade names registered to Everett Mills upon dissolution of the Mills, Apr. 29, 1937. Letter suggests they be transferred to Frederic C. McDuffie, former treasurer of Everett Mills.
