[Account book of Colonel Jonathan Kingsbury, 1787-1803].

Small account book without a cover. The bulk of the entries concern sawing done by Kingsbury for various customers. Near the end of the book is a section with the title "Memorandum book" that has entries concerning the meetings of the West Company militia in Needham.

Ten companies comprised the 12th Regiment, Massachusetts Volunteer Militia: five from Boston, one from North Bridgewater, one from Abington, one from Weymouth, one from Stoughton, and one from Gloucester. After organization was completed, the regiment was ordered to Fort Warren in Boston Harbor.
