This collection consists of personal papers of August B. Mueller, of Arlington, Minnesota, who served in the Minnesota House of Representatives for thirty-four years (1941-1975). The collection contains his personal correspondence with his constituents, newspaper articles and press releases about Mueller, reports written by Mueller, photographs, campaign literature, and a transcript of an oral history interview conducted with Mueller in 1977. Some topics included in the collection are highway routes, use of studded tires on Minnesota highways, and the 1971 abortion bill.
