Letter, August 22, 1940, Croton-On-Hudson, New York [to] Mr. Jesse Goldstein, Staten Island, New York / Edward Howard Griggs. 1940.

Tells him that he mad Markhams acquaintance when he was Principal of a school in Oakland and he was teaching at the time at Stanford University. They both were members of a club when he heard him read a paper on Ruskin and Morris. Ever since they exchanged letters but is unable to furnish them since he doesn't have them being that he always traveled so much.
