Contains the following type of materials: photographs. Covers the following wars and time period: Philippine Insurrection, World War I (WWI), World War II (WWII). Contains photographs of the following military unit: 10th Field Artillery, American Expeditionary Forces (A.E.F.). General description of the collection: The Ziba L. Henry photograph collection is primarily related to the Army career of Dr. Henry, United States (U.S.) Army Medical Department. Most of the collection relates to his service in the Philippines between 1909-1915. Photos show typical views of the Philippines, natives, cities, villages, camps, soldiers, insurgent casualties, etc. There are also a number of U.S. location photos in the western states showing landscapes, homes, Army posts, etc. Also included are scenes in Guam, the Panama Canal Zone and Nagasaki, Japan. As part of all of the above are numerous picture post cards. A few photos in box 2 cover medical and recreational subjects at Camp Harry J. Jones at Douglas, Arizona ca. 1918, and a panoramic view of the camp in 1917. Also part of this collection are a few photos of Ziba's son, Private Harold Henry, who served in the 10th Field Artillery in the AEF during WWI. There are also some photos of Hobart Ray Snowden, who served in the Army Air Forces in Tinian during WWII.
