General description of the collection: The EUCOM Communications Center, 1945 photograph collection is a large format photo album containing photographs of the facade and interior operations of the European Command Communications Center (EUCOM) in Paris, France, following the liberation of that city. The Center was housed in a German poured concrete "block house" constructed to withstand any destruction attempted against it. Within are offices and equipment and GIs and Women's Army Corps (WACs) working together at all kinds of communications equipment.
