Letter 1895, July 18, Long Branch, Cal. to Mr. Edwin Markham, [Staten Island] / Elmer Ellsworth Brown. 1895.

Mr. Brown informs Mr. Markham that neither him or Dr. Bailey will be able to attend the opening of the Tompkins School. Dr. Bailey is sick and he is detained by work. He will not be able to come the middle of August. He also askes if Col. Parker's envelope was received.
