Letter 1900, Oct. 5, New York City to Mrs. Anna Catherine Markham, Brooklyn / New York Journal. 1900.

Mr. Mor askes if Mrs. Markham could write something nice for the Brooklyn papers, concerning the Brooklyn Booth at the Journal Charity Bazaar. They don't want the Brooklyn people to think this is an advertising scheme by the New York Journal. They want her to say that the Journal would never use the orphans as an advertising scheme. Mr. Hearst wants anything connected with the Bazaar to be carried out in a proper manner. They are sure if some nice comments were prepared and taken to Mr. McKelway, he would use it. Also they ask if she could get Mrs. Woodruff to assist her. They also thank her and Mr. Markham for all of their help with the Bazaar.
