Interview conducted by Larry Ritter for use in his book "The Glory of their times : the story of the early days of baseball told by the men who played it". George McBride makes comparisons between old time pitchers, as well as managing Walter Johnson and Heinie Manush. Additional comments are made about Chick Gandil in the 1919 World Series and playing for manager Clark Griffith.
