Oral history interview with Paul Waner, 1964 Jan. 29.

Interview conducted by Larry Ritter for use in his book "The Glory of their times : the story of the early days of baseball told by the men who played it". Paul Waner discusses his recruitment by the San Francisco Seals of the Pacific Coast League. Also he tells stories about batting practice with Lew Fonseca and Jimmy O'Connell. Followed by insights about his arm injury and comments about playing with Lloyd Waner and Honus Wagner.

Paul Waner played for the Pittsburgh Pirates (1926-1940), Brooklyn Dodgers (1941, 1943-1944), Boston Braves (1941-1942), New York Yankees (1944-1945).
