Interview conducted by Larry Ritter for use in his book "The Glory of their times : the story of the early days of baseball told by the men who played it". Joe Wood comments on teammate/outfielder Tris Speaker. Discusses beating Walter Johnson at Fenway Park on September 6, 1912, the 1912 World Series, and the injury to his pitching arm and his rise as an outfielder.
