Interview conducted by Larry Ritter for use in his book "The Glory of their times : the story of the early days of baseball told by the men who played it". Hans Lobert discusses prohibiton/drinking in the big leagues, specifically the habits of Grover Cleveland Alexander. Comments on manager John. J. McGraw on and off of the field. Followed by a comparison between the present day ballplayer and the old time ballplayer.
