Oral history interview with Bill Werber, 1963 Aug. 8.

Interview conducted by Larry Ritter for use in his book "The Glory of their times : the story of the early days of baseball told by the men who played it". Bill Werber discusses Babe Ruth's final day in 1934, as well as his opinion as to how success affects a ballplayer. Additionally comments are made about the roles of a manager, occupations of ballplayers after baseball, and Jimmie Foxx's hitting abilities.
