Earl Reeves Wasserman papers, 1938-1973.

Collection consists of literary papers (1938-1973) of Johns Hopkins University professor and author, Earl Reeves Wasserman. The lecture notes relate to the romantic poets including Keats and Shelley and the relation of Elizabethan literature to the 18th century. Other items include drafts of articles and notes on Alexander Pope and William Wordsworth. Correspondence, schedules of classes, and minutes of meetings reflect Wasserman's teaching career at The Johns Hopkins University.

John Keats was an English poet and literary critic. John Keats, English poet, was born in London, England, on 29 or 31 Oct. 1795. He died of tuberculosis in Italy on 23 Feb. 1821.
