General description of the collection: The Company of Military Historicans photograph collection includes photos on a wide variety of subjects that were published in the Company of Military Historians journal during the mid to late 1970s. In the 1970s, the then editor of the Journal of the Company of Military Historians decided that the photographs used in articles in the Journal should be placed in the holdings of the Military History Institute. Succeeding editors, however, did not continue sending photos to the Institute.
