Chinese American World War II Veterans Survey Project records, 1981-1984.

Chiefly completed survey forms, 1981-1982, from veterans residing in Calif., particularly San Francisco, Oakland, and other northern Calif. cities, and Hawaii, as well as a small number from Alaska and other states. Also includes a roster for the #407 Air Service Squadron, photos from an exhibit mounted by the project, and clippings regarding the Ah-Tye family, who were featured in the exhibit. With these, a signed copy of The memoir--1947 by Lim P. Lee, published by the Chick Char Musical Club (1947), containing photographs with captions for Chinese servicemen in World War II. Also contains Advisory Committee correspondence concerning the survey, correspondence from veterans' families, survey forms, and interview questions.
