The Photograph/Art Collection.

The original purpose of this collection was to provide a visual record of the St. Augustine Campus of The University of the West Indies. Over the years, and in conjunction with the Library's Oral and Pictorial Records Programme, the scope of the collection has been extended to include photographs relevant to the history of Trinidad and Tobago. The collection therefore includes many items related to the history of the University: campus events, distinguished visitors; special convocations and ceremonies, campus buildings, as well as areas of historic interest in Trinidad and Tobago. It also includes postcards, original Carnival designs and paintings (few originals) and/or prints by local artists - Jean Michel Cazabon, Carlisle Chang, Stephen Wong Kang, to name a few.
