Asked Broadus to have the Virginia Foreign Mission Board appoint delegates to the [Southern Baptist] Convention to meet in Louisville, Kentucky. "Please have the name of Jesse Williams of this city, Rev. S.A. Creath (agent R College), Rev. J.B. Tombes, Buffalo, Putnam County, Va. in the appts. You may also include Rev. A. Jones, Clarkesville--these will probably go."
