[Letter] 1856 Nov 19, Sparta, to "my very dear friend" Rev. John A. Broadus / C.A. Crank. 1856.

In reply to Broadus's offer of a teaching position, she expressed her own desires: "I am willing to take the school for the sum of $275 and all the fees for music. I would prefer a school of not more than 10 or 12 scholars. I have had 18 this year and find them most too many."
