Contains photographs of the following military unit: 628th Quartermaster Refrigeration Company. General description of the collection: The Charles W. Whalen photograph collection includes several photographs of his years at Harvard Business School and his participation in a theatrical production in 1942. There are a few photos of OCS training and a nice portrait photo of the newly minted "Second Louie". The bulk of the collection covers two major subjects: the activities of the 628th Quartermaster Refrigeration Company and travel photos to the various tourist sites in India. It appears that his duties were most rigorous and he had no front line combat experiences.
