General description of the collection: The Special Services photograph collection includes photographs documenting the services, personnel and activities of the Special Services from WWII to the Vietnam War; includes photographs from Japan, Okinawa, the Ryukus Command and the Philippines; many photos represent libraries and librarians serving troops and families of service personnel; collection includes images of service clubs, entertainers, USO shows and other Special Services activities for off-duty recreation of service personnel.
