Educator, author, and sports historian. Hasenfus was born on January 9, 1900 in Newton, Massachusetts. He attended Boston College for both his undergraduate and graduate education. Hasenfus taught in the Boston school system and was the Vice President and Academic Dean at Chamberlayne College.
