Negative taken for August 8, 1963, Arkansas Gazette article "Methods Used by Night Patrol Demonstrated," B1:2. Amphibious armored personnel carriers, number 56, 11, and 33, of the 8th Infantry Division, crossing the Rhine River in West Germany. The carriers have a cargo of seven soldiers. On land, they can travel up to 40 miles per hour and on water it can travel up to 3 and a half miles per hour. Their tractor-like treads propel it both on land and in water.
