Letter 1919, June 24, St. Helena, Calif [to] Mrs. Anna Catherine Markham, [Staten Island, N.Y.] / J.W. Chinn. 1919.

She was glad to hear that Anna had been to Birecher's Church, where she had been years ago with her father. He was a grand man and it was the most memorable time for her to see him and listen to him. It seems that Anna was prented to the Crowned Heads and thought of J.W. Chinn. She feels she will be passing away, her health has worsened. She has so much to tell Anna but her eyes won't permit. She refers to Elizabeth Towne. She thinks that President Wilson is a grand man. She seems to have been a woman before her time.
