There are considerable gaps in the collection for the period from 1954 through the early 1980s, but the original charter and first contract (both from 1954) are included, and bargaining in the 1960s is well-documented. The collection is divided into three series: I. Minutes (Executive Board, 1985-1992 and General Membership Meetings, 1983-1989); II. General Files, arranged alphabetically by subject and including officers' correspondence, bargaining files, NLRB cases and representations to the FCC; III. Grievances and Arbitration Cases, 1978-1992.
