Typed letter signed from Harold Johnson, St. Louis, to Dr. Isaac Hall Platt, The New Shakespearean Society, Bryn Mawr, near Philadelphia, Pa. [manuscript], 1905 January 13.

Johnson writes to inquire concerning his membership in the Society. Has recently become "somewhat enthused" with his research into the Bacon-Shaxpere affair and has discovered a new cypher. On letterhead of Harold Johnson, lawyer, Roe Building, St. Louis. Correspondent is possibly the same Harold Johnson who wrote "Did the Jesuits write Shakespeare?"
