Contains general and headquarters orders of the command based at Robinson's House and at West Point; includes orders of Benedict Arnold, Alexander McDougall, and Arthur St. Clair. Includes information on courts-martial and on problems with supplies, including an order to reduce the bread ration. Apparently kept by V. Hubbell.

In response to the expansion of the Continental Army the number of staff was increased and reorganized in 1776. Changes included the creation of a new unit to supplement George Washington's personal staff.
