Son of Pandolfo Petrucci, tyrant of Siena. In early April, 1516, Alfonso's brothers Borghese (the successor of Pandolfo Petrucci) and Fabio (who was still a minor at that point) had given Alfonso full power for the liquidation of the landed property belonging to the inheritance from their father.
