Henry A. Morrill was born in Potsdam, New York on February 13, 1835. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1860. He received his LL. D. from the College of Wooster in 1891 and an honorary degree from Dartmouth Dartmouth in 1903. He practiced law in Cincinnate and taught constitutional law at the Cincinnati Law School.
