Henry tells Markham that Sarpedan recieved universal praise. The best words came from our beloved friends James D. Phelan and Albert M. Bender. Henry's project in poetry is going well. One of the Ministers Doctor Morrison said that he that is poem on San Jose is the best and has a spirit. Doctor Richardson read his Ballad of Peace at his service last Sunday. He hasn't sent Markham's copy of the intro to his "Sierran Pau"? to Double Day. He thinks it would be better for Edwin to see it first. He wants to included other poems in his volume to be dedicated to Edwin, Senator Phelan, and Annie Mabel Bland. He is also working on Edwin's Biography.
