Lecture of Henry Neill Paul, with illustrative slides. Mr. Paul elaborates the view that the engravings were made directly from stage productions of the plays. v. 1 (S.d.71): typescripts of the lecture, with notes mostly in the autograph of the author. v. 2 (S.d.72): further memoranda and several autograph letters, chiefly about the same subject. S.d.72 also includes a typescript essay on Elisha Kirkall by Moncure Biddle. v. 3 (S.d.73): slides. A number of the original slides seem to be missing.
