Autograph letter signed from Charles Knight, Isle of Wight, to Henry Vaughan, Esq. [manuscript], 1864 January 30.

Knight thanks Vaughan for sending him a copy of L'Indovino Inglese for 1859 -- an almanac created by English fortune-teller, William Hanemann; published in Italy under the name - Guglielmo Haaneman. He sees it as evidence of the spread of delusions and England's evil reputation abroad. Addressed from Madeira Road, Ventnor, Isle of Wight.
