She served on the Arkansas Arts Council and various local boards. Helen married King H. Nunn, III, a dentist, in 1948 with whom she had two children, King H. Nunn, IV, of Blytheville and Attorney Robinson S. Nunn of Reston, Fairfax County, Virginia.
