General description of the collection: The United States (U.S.) Navy miscellaneous collection includes a U.S. Revenue-Marine Service list of officers (August 15, 1877); a paper entitled, "Recruiting" (circa 1818); a Nitre Department accounting book from Malden, Massachusetts covering period 1864-1878; a copy of a station manual and log book of operations for Navy Radio Arlington (NRA); newspaper clippings of Korean War veteran Robert E. Blackburn; and personal correspondence belonging to Richard Steward Houseal.
