George Franklin Bowerman papers, 1894-1904.

Scrapbooks covering Bowerman's library education and early professional career: his student years at the New York State Library School, Albany, 1894-1895; his position as Reference Librarian of the Reynolds Library, Rochester, N.Y., 1895-1896; and his dual position as Librarian of the Wilmington Institute Free Library and member of the Delaware State Library Commission, 1901-1904. The scrapbook of his student days is of particular interest since it contains a handwritten account of a trip to the Boston area and school memorabilia.
