Carte de visite of Patrick William O'Toole, Assistant Surgeon, Third Michigan Cavalry. O'Toole enlisted as an Assistant Surgeon on August 27, 1863. The Third Michigan Cavalry was stationed at De Valls Bluff, Prairie County, Arkansas, the winter of 1864-1865. O'Toole survived the Civil War.
