Contains information pertaining to the following wars: World War I (WWI), World War II (WWII). Contains information pertaining to the following military units: 8th Armored Division, 12th Armored Division; 51st United States (U.S.) Infantry Division. General description of the collection: The Thomas J. Camp papers include personal papers including a set of diaries from 1913 to 1924; some World War I papers; much from the Command and General Staff College (CGSC) from 1926-1929; Army War College (AWC), 1930-31; Naval War College (NWC), 1934-35; Armor training; papers of 8th and 12th Armored Divisions in the U.S.; and much correspondence, etc., for the 1941 to 1945 period. His overseas assignment toward the end of World War II was to Panama.
