Risden Patterson Reece was a member of the Class of 1904 at the North Carolina College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts (later North Carolina State University) and worked for the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Throughout his life, Reece was active in the NC State Alumni Association and helped organize reunions for the Class of 1904 through the mid-1970s. Hugh Williams Primrose was one of six sons born to William Stuart Primrose and Ella Williams Primrose. He was born January 21, 1878 and died January 27, 1904. He was a member of the graduating class of 1897. His father, William Stuart Primrose, was a member of the original Watauga Club which helped found the college.
