Warren Harlan Hoover was a West Point graduate in the class of 1931. He worked in counter-intelligence operations in the Pacific Ocean Area in World War II. Following the war his major assignments were with the Field Artillery at Fort Sill. He attended the Air War College in 1948-1949 and was chief of the Army Section of MAAG in Madrid, Spain in 1955 and served as Acting Chief of Military History before his retirement in 1961.
