Records of Nu Upsilon Gamma Fraternity, 1910-1981.

The Nu Upsilon Gamma collection consists of minutes, constitutions, programs, clippings newsletters, and lists of member names. In addition, there are records concerning a Washington, D.C. branch of this fraternity called the Bliss Electrical Chapter of Nu Upsilon Gamma. The Gustavus Adolphus College branch began in November 1910 when students formed the Greys, a secret society. Seeking official recognition from the college members reorganized during 1920 into the Gamma Alpha Chapter of Nu Upsilon Gamma. The fraternity continued until the 1990s when it became inactive. Students reorganized in 2001. Most materials date from 1910 through the 1960s.
