Edwards details her experience using drugs and acting as a counselor for the intervention center Lighthouse in San Francisco. She describes her use of marijuana, methamphetamine, and other drugs, the drug culture in Haight-Ashbury, and the operations of the Lighthouse, which was eventually shut down by the police.
