Papers of Lorin Andrews, President of Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio include correspondence to Andrews regarding education, Ohio State Teachers' Association, the "School Law of 1853" and Kenyon College. Also included are documents about the 4th Ohio Volunteer Infantry, of which Andrews was a colonel, obituaries and letters of condolence to his wife, Sara (Gates) Andrews, upon his death, and a 1865 newspaper clipping of a "Letter from East Tennessee" about rebuilding the railroad between Cincinnati and Tennessee.
