Miscellaneous materials (mostly pertaining to sports) used in the design and production of THE STANFORD CENTURY published by the Stanford Alumni Association in 1991. Includes photo album pages with images of football players, card stunts at games, and Big Game bonfires, 1921-25; photographs of Stanford athletes and sporting events (mostly copy prints from other sources), ca. 1910-1990; Big Game program covers; hand-drawn designs for Big Game card stunts, ca. 1928; original newspapers regarding the Axe, 1930; and two original photos (not sport related) used in the book, 1920 and 1989. Original materials from the 1920s-30s were created or owned by James Hall Snell, A.B. 1925.
