Professor Emeritus of radiology, Stanford School of Medicine. Jones earned his BA in chemistry at Haverford College in 1939 and his MD from Yale. After several years as an instructor at the Army School of Roentgenology, he joined the faculty at the Stanford School of Medicine in 1948 and taught until his retirement in 2006.
