Josiah G. Munro Letter Book, 1869-1875.

Contains personal and business correspondence. Munro was an agent of the South End Errand and Commission Office and the Church of Unity in Boston, who contacted various people about charitable enterprises, legal matters invloving clients, speakers for church events. Also contains balance sheets for these organizations. Also covers business ventrues in Minnesota and Cuba, where he invested in real estate, brick manufacturing, and commondities such as goatskins, oats, molasses, sugar, nitrate soda and gunpowder. Includes letters about courtship of Sarah Dall and later reversals of fortunes in his business enterprises.
