Daniel Lindley (August 24, 1801-September 3, 1880) was an American missionary to South Africa. With his wife Lucy, the Lindleys founded the Inanda Seminary School in 1869. The son of the founder of Ohio University, Daniel Lindley studied there and at the Union Seminary in Prince Edward, Virginia, and was ordained by the Presbyterian Church. He married Lucy Virginia Allen in 1834, and they were sent by the American Board of Missions to South Africa, where they were first posted in Matabeleland. I...
